Planned Maintenance

The Association’s Management Committee recently approved a £1 million budget for planned and reactive maintenance spend which will see an extensive programme of works being undertaken in the Bellsmyre estate during 2011/12.

The proposed planned works will enable the Association to continue working towards completion of the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by the required date of 2015.  Work will include:

♦  Roof renewals Stonyflatt Avenue and Penniecroft Ave

♦  Kitchens renewals Braeside Drive, 27 & 29 Merkins Ave,
Penniecroft Ave, Stonyflatt Ave and houses at Auchenreoch Ave and Aitkenbar Circle

♦  Window and door 41-51 Valeview Terrace, Penniecroft
     Renewals  Ave, Stonyflatt Ave and traditional houses at Bellsmyre Ave

♦  Insulation Properties to be identified
     Improvements

♦  Close decoration Stonyflatt Ave, Penniecroft Ave and other properties to be identified

♦  Controlled entry Penniecroft Ave and Stonyflatt Ave
     Systems

♦  Asbestos removal Properties to be identified
 

♦  Footpath/step Continuing rolling programme
    Repairs throughout estate

♦  Gas servicing/ Annual gas servicing of all heating
    Renewals/audit systems and renewals as required

♦  Electrical checks Continuing rolling programme
throughout estate
