You have the right to be consulted on any rent increase and your views are important to us.
Following our first consultation event on 1 December, the Association is holding a further Rent Increase Consultation afternoon where tenants can pop in and get more information about the proposed increase and discuss how this may affect the rent you currently pay.
The decision to set the rents for next year will be taken by the Management Committee at their meeting in February 2012.
Under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, we have a duty to consult with tenants on the proposed changes to rents and service charges. A copy of our rent setting policy is available from the Association’s office.
If you are unable to come along on Thursday please call your Housing Officer who will be happy to discuss the increase with you.
