Inverclyde Housing Support Service

Inverclyde Housing Support Service

Here at Cloch Housing Association we strive to give our tenants the best service possible including providing support with all issues surrounding their tenancy. To help us maintain a proactive approach to tenant welfare we have employed the help of The Inverclyde Housing Support Service which is run by Tracey Blair the Senior Project Worker.

This support is offered by The Mungo Foundation which is an organisation that has a long history of providing assistance to many different people throughout their specialised projects within Scotland. To learn more about their organisation and the different projects you can look at their website as follows; www.themungofoundation.org.uk

The Inverclyde Housing Support Service is designed to help provide tenants with practical support and advice in relation to their tenancies. As this can be almost anything that affects the tenancy or puts it at risk here are some general headings that Tracey can help with.

  • Home safety and security
  • Managing your mail
  • Income and debt management (including benefit advice and signposting)
  • Shopping and cooking advice and support
  • Advice and support with health issues
  • Support in dealing with other professionals (such as the housing association)
  • Employability support and advice
  • Confidence building in getting out and about

Tracey will provide 1-2-1 support for the tenant with the aim of providing tenants with the ability to gain confidence and knowledge to deal with their tenancy on their own as well as provide an overall service that treats the tenant as an individual with individual needs.

To refer to the service there are 3 options listed below;
