The Association hosted an interesting, informative and enjoyable tour of Dunbritton's housing stock, Wider Role projects both past and present and current development projects on the 28th September.

The Association held is Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 14th September 2011 at the Association’s office at First Floor, 32 High Street, Dumbarton, G82 1LL.

The AGM was attended by 19% of our 89 members, including a large proportion of our Management Committee members.  The meeting included a presentation of our current development projects provided by Gregor Cameron our Development Consultant and afterwards attendees were able to take part in our first fund raising event for our nominated Charities of the Year, Macmillan Cancer Care and Lennox Children's Trust before the opportunity of a chat with staff and other members.

Tenants and staff of the Association enjoyed a lovely day trip to Largs on Wednesday, 17th August 2011 in connection with the Association’s Tenant Participation Strategy.

With the sun shining, the water glistening in the sunlight and the seagulls squawking everyone had a super time. No trip to Largs would be complete with a fish tea at Nardini’s and a wee tour of the shops.

Dunbritton Housing Association is part of a website consortium known as Scottish Housing Connections. The consortium was set up in connection with Community Links Scotland to offer a low cost standardised website to housing associations and co-operatives that would like to join the Consortium.

Following the involvement of website designers “Radiator” and with the help of Jana Moravcova from Community Links Scotland, the website was given a makeover and a co-ordinated new look. A launch lunch was held on the 12th August 2011 which was attended by our Convener, John O’Connor (pictured left).
