How are houses allocated?
Houses are allocated according to Lochfield Park’s Allocations Policy (information leaflets on the Allocation Policy are available on request from our office).
Our first priority will be tenants who require internal transfer due to medical priority.
Any housing available after the needs of the first priority group have been met will be allocated:
50% of Internal Transfers (Housing Need);
50% Waiting List Applicants
Lochfield Park will also work in partnership with Glasgow Housing Association and Local Housing Organisations to assist them with reprovisioning priorities. The Association will also provide houses to Glasgow City Council to assist the Council in meeting statutory duties in respect of homeless persons.
Housing Waiting List
Housing Waiting List applicants will be awarded points according to their Housing Need.
Examples of Housing Need would include:
- Homeless, threatened with homelessness
- Medical problems
