The Tollcross Community Advice Centre and Learning Centre has been operating successfully for 6 years and last year moved to bigger and better premises at 1061-1063 Tollcross Road.
The Centre provides the local community with advice on debt and a wide range of benefits. Veronica Telfer, Project Co-ordinator and Laura McQueen work with a team of volunteers to run the Tollcross BCD Credit Union which provides a full range of financial services and allows local people to save and take out loans.
The programme of events at the Centre also includes, Computing for beginners and one-off events such as free poverty. The latest programme of events can be viewed by clicking here.
The Centre works in partnership with many other organisations such as John Wheatley College and Glasgow Regeneration Agency to deliver services to local people.
