Welcome to Tollcross
Tollcross Housing Association was founded in 1974 and operates in the Tollcross and Carmyle areas of Glasgow. As well as having rehabilitated tenement housing stock along Tollcross Road and the adjoining streets, we have also built new homes in the Tollcross area and have acquired a sheltered housing development in Carmyle.
We aim to provide high quality housing at reasonable costs, to work to improve the local community and to support local inclusion. In order to meet housing needs that exist within the community we have a programme aimed at improving, building and providing houses at an affordable cost.
We have a housing stock of approximately 700 homes and also factor owner occupied properties in the area.
Our work to improve the Tollcross and Carmyle areas includes Environmental Improvement work at the junction of Tollcross Road and Braidfauld Street.
We are actively involved in wider role activities and help to fund the Tollcross Community Advice Centre, which is situated at 937 Tollcross Road. We also employ a Welfare Rights Officer (Joe Penders), who is available to provide advice and assistance to all local residents.
