Who Are The Management Committee?
Policy decisions on what a housing association should do are taken by the Management Committee. The committee is made up of up to 15 people (plus up to 5 Co-optees) who are all tenants or owner-occupiers in Inverclyde.
The committee has a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and a Treasurer. The people who hold these posts and who serve on the committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
As it is not practical for the full Committee to meet every time a decision is needed on different matters, it delegates decisions to Sub-Committees and professional Staff.
What Do Staff Do?
The Association employs full-time staff to implement policy and manage the Association on a day to day basis.
There is a Director who is in charge of staff all various sections. Staff are divided into the following sections: Financial Services, Property Services, Housing Services, and Corporate Services.
