Welcome to Calvay Housing Association
Calvay Housing Association Ltd is a community controlled housing association operating in the Barlanark neighbourhood, which is located in the East End of Glasgow. The Association was established in 1985 to improve the housing conditions of local residents. Since then, the Association has gone on to refurbish in excess of 350 homes and completed four phases of new build, creating 120 new homes. The Association also acts as factor for owner occupiers in its area and manages 390 properties on behalf of the Glasgow Housing Association. The Association's aim is not only to improve the housing conditions of residents, but to reduce social inequality and to create a viable and sustainable neighbourhood. As part of this wider aim, the Association has developed the Calvay Centre which delivers a wide range of services and opportunities to local people.
