Welcome to Blairtummock
Blairtummock Housing Association Ltd (BHA), a registered charity, is a community controlled housing association operating in the Blairtummock neighbourhood of Easterhouse in the East End of Glasgow. BHA was established in 1989 with its overarching aim to "Secure a safe and attractive environment for current and future generations". BHA has transformed the community through refurbishment of existing homes, and demolition and replacement of sub-standard stock. BHA currently own 577 social rented homes and have an interest in 21 in shared ownership.
BHA is controlled by a local management committee of tenants, owner occupiers and other residents from the Blairtummock and Rogerfield areas. All decisions on strategy and policy matters are taken by the management committee and they oversee all of the functions of the organisation through management committee and sub-committee meetings.
BHA manages 273 properties in the neighbouring area of Rogerfield, on behalf of the Glasgow Housing Association and also acts as factor for owner occupiers in its area of operation.
BHA aims to provide high quality services to tenants, to reduce social inequality and to create a vibrant and sustainable neighbourhood. Recognising the wider needs of the community, the Association has developed Blairtummock Community Hall which serves as a community hub for the delivery of a wide range of services.
The aim of our website is to provide an additional way for residents and service users to access services and becoming informed about the organisation and for partner agencies to find out more about us.
We hope that you will find the website and the information contained within it useful.
