Housing Application
Hillhead Housing Association 2000 is a community Housing Association. The association owns around 850 houses in the Hillhead area of Kirkintilloch. These are a mixture of tenement flats (many of which are due to be demolished within the next 5 years), cottage flats and terraced/semi detached houses.
Who can apply?
Anyone aged 16 or over may apply to the Association. To obtain a Housing Application Form you can either collect one from our offices or one can be sent to your home either by telephoning or e-mail. Alternativley, you can download one from the Important Documents page of this website.

If you are currently one of our tenants and wish to move property, the same application form should be completed, and the following information will also apply.
When you apply for a house, your application will be logged and you will receive an acknowledgement letter within 3 days. Thereafter your application will be processed and the information you provide will be used to assess your housing needs and calculate your points. We would normally process this within 28 days and you will receive a letter detailing any points you have been awarded.
If you require to submit information relating to support or access needs, a Health and Access Needs Assessment Form should be completed. This form is available on request from our office or alternatively you can download it from the Important Documents Section of this website.
These forms should be completed and returned to us as soon as possible, as this information may entitle you to additional points.
On receipt of your point’s letter you may contact us if you feel there are any discrepancies. Prior to allocation these points will be validated by way of a house visit.
