More about Gardeen
  • USEFUL INFORMATION
  • Legionella

Legionnaires’ disease are potentially fatal forms of pneumonia that can affect anyone.  Legionella bacteria occur in natural water sources, often in low numbers but, can also be found in purpose built water systems.  In order to reduce risk of build-up of bacteria we recommend that showers are run at least once a month for a few minutes and that shower heads are cleaned regularly.  If you have any questions about Legionella, please contact Lyndsay at the office.

    Money Problems?

We offer a referrals service to GEMAP (Greater Easterhouse Money Advice Project) which runs at Gardeen on a Monday morning.

Our advisor, Michelle, visits the Gardeen office every Monday morning and we can make a referral to GEMAP on your behalf and an office appointment will be made for you to come in. If you would like to see Michelle for money advice, please contact us.

Click HERE for more information about GEMAP.

    Citizens Advice Bureau

Click HERE for information about CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) who offer information and advice on things like sorting out debt worries and ensure you claim all the benefits you may be entitled to. They can help with housing and employment problems and deal with queries about consumer or tax credit issues. They can also advise on housing matters, consumer affairs and can answer questions about immigration and have lots of experience of family and personal matters too.
