    PSHA - History

    30 Years In Housing

    Paisley South Housing Association started in 1984 and celebrated 30 years in Housing in 2014. 

     

     In May 2017, Paisley South HA became Paisley Housing Association.

    PHA - Management Committee

    Membership of Paisley Housing Association Management Committee is open to anyone who is a member of the association.  The Management Committee has up to 15 members who perform their duties voluntarily.

  • Public Holiday Weekend Friday 22 & 25 September

    The Paisley food distribution at Central Baptist Church Community Hall, 14 Lady Lane, Paisley from 2pm - 4pm, will be closed on Friday 22 September & Monday 25  September due to the public holidays.

  • Office Closed for the September Weekend - Public Holiday (22nd September & 25th September)

    The office is closed on Friday 22nd and Monday 25th.  The office will reopen on Tuesday 26th September 2017

     

  • Annual Garden/Balcony Competition 2017

    The Association would like to thank all residents who take the time and effort year in year out to make their garden/ balcony area look so wonderful and 2017 has been no different. 

    The winners of this year’s competition were

  • Fire Safety

    In light of the dreadful fire at the high rise block in Grenfell Tower, London some of our tenants may have concerns about the cladding fitted to Oliphant Court, Foxbar posing a risk in the event of a fire. The insulation fitted is a non-combustible material with class zero flame spread, which enhances fire protection to the external walls. This has been certified by a Structural Engineer and Renfrewshire Council’s Building Control.

     

    If any of our residents would like more information or would like to discuss fire safety further then please contact Lesley Gilhooly on 0141 583 4101.

  • Tenant Scrutiny Panel

    Our Tenant Scrutiny Panel has recently completed its  first scrutiny into our Letting Standard. The Panel’s  report on their findings and recommendations was presented  to our Management Committee in June and they approved the recommendations and  made commitment to implement them for the end of March 2018.

    The recommendations were for the Association to:  

    • consider introducing décor packs

    • review the Letting Standard to ensure it is up to date with legislative standards and current needs

    • provide a more user friendly version of the letting standard

    • place more emphasis on the letting standard at accompanied viewings

    • ensure the standard is applied in mixed tenure blocks
